Summer Rayne Oakes, a model in New York who studied environmental science, is on the board of Good Eggs, which brings groceries from the best local farmers and food-makers right to your door. Summer’s kitchen is, like the rest of her home, covered in plants; it feels like a rainforest and is painted electric green. She and her dad built a mason-jar plant garden, which she calls a “living art piece.” It is made with recycled wood, old mason jars, and other found materials.
